This volume contains the technical proceedings, including the recommendations, of the Workshop on Remote Sensing Applications for Rice Production, that was held at National Remote Sensing Agency, Hyderabad, India, from 12 to 13 September 1981. Forty-seven invited scientists from universities, nonprofit institutions, research laboratories and government agencies in the USA, India, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Japan and Switzerland participated in the Workshop. The 2-day Workshop followed a 3-day Symposium on the same topic at the same location.
